Pre-Trip Inspection Checklist

As we move into the Spring and start getting our RV’s prepared for first time use after their winter hibernation. Its important to start thinking about checking all of the systems.

I spent the last couple of days working on my RV. I am sharing the Pre-Trip checklist that I use to help make sure my RV is ready to go. I used to wait up until the week before our first trip to go checkout the RV.

This usually meant I was sprinting to get those little things fixed prior to the trip. I remember one trip in particular we literally got everything done 15 minutes before we left. I was out of breath and exhausted. This is before the trip even began and Im already tired.

After that experience I decided that Im not going to push my Pre-Trip inspection to just before the first trip but instead start checking it out as soon as the weather turned good enough. This process has served me well. I still end up with a bit of a sprint at the end but its much more manageable.
