Welcome to RVHelp.net. We are a family who loves to RV. I am a husband, father, Marine and an engineer but really the question is who are we. Well, we are a family of Dog loving, Horseback riding, motocross, skateboarding, hiking, family visiting, challenge finding and loving group of people who absolutely cherish each and every day we spend with each other. We believe in loving and living every day. RV’ing fits perfectly with us as a family.

Our RV is a 2010 Fleetwood Discovery 40G and we tow a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X with a blue ox tow bar.

I have enjoyed RV’ing with my family but have found that not all RV’s are created equal and not all RV sellers are the most honest people in the world. We have purchased a few RV’s that were in far worse condition than we expected. In the picture below the roof is not supposed to look like that :(.

Luckily my background allowed me to quickly diagnose and resolve issues with our personal, friends and families RV’s. We have replaced the roofs, awnings, windows, A/C’s, Generators (Gas and Diesel), re-wired the 12volt and 120volt electrical systems in multiple RV’s etc… We will be publishing articles that describe how to diagnose issues with these systems because we have seen exactly how they work along with the most valuable part our hard-won knowledge.

Our knowledge cost about $30,000.00 to obtain which I figured up by adding up the receipts for all of the parts I have replaced not to mention our time. We are hoping to save others from having RV’ing cost them the same. We have also put together an RV Buyers guide.

In retrospect, a lot of my issues could have been avoided by not buying the RV’s that we purchased. So we have been working on a guide that walks through the process of evaluating an RV. The best way to avoid spending $30,000.00 in RV Education is to purchase the RV that doesn’t need $30,000.00 in repairs. This guide is our way of pointing out all of those hidden repairs and then give you estimates on how much the different parts could cost to repair.

We are currently beta testing the guide with multiple families who are looking for their next RV. If you would like to be in our beta program please email me at john@rvhelp.net and I’ll add you to our beta program.

All the Best,

John
